Draka Service supports
„Schutzbengel-S-Löffel“-project
– a soup kitchen for children |
|
During Draka Service’s Christmas party, the staff auctioned off several
office tools and some small equipment items that would not be needed
anymore. The generated “income” of €400 in total was donated to the „Schutzbengel-S-Löffel“-project.
This pilot project constitutes a start-up amount for poor children in
Nuremberg-South to provide them with a hot meal every day. A picture
painted by the children was handed over to the Draka service staff as a
thank-you gift. |

presenting the donation certificate and the picture painted by pupils of
Sperberschule. |

Draka Service supports animal welfare |
|
Draka Service GmbH supports voluntarily the organization “Tiere in
Spanien”. This organization takes care of homeless dogs in Spain and
arranges new homes for them in Germany. As Draka Service assemblers
often travel between construction sites in Spain and Germany, they have
already been able to transfer eleven stray dogs to their new families in
Germany. |

Draka Service staff donates money for hospice
"Let's party, but care for others!"
|
|
This was the slogan for the Christmas party in December 2007. The Draka
Service staff collected a
sum of 305 EURO with
a tombola. This sum of money has been donated to an ambulant hospice for
children in Munich.
Mrs. Bronner of the hospice visited Draka Service on January 28, 2008
and thanked for the donation. We are sure that our donation was a good
contribution to honour the hospice's work and will help critically and
terminally ill children, teenagers and young adults as well as their
families.
We say thank you to all employees for buying lots and therefore making
this donation possible. |
